Privacy policy

Shoe Odditorium, LLC ("Shoe Odditorium," "we," "us") runs www.shoeoddy.com and also sells through marketplaces such as TikTok Shop. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, order details, and anything you send us, such as a contact form message, a measurement request, or an authenticity or return claim (including photos).
  • Payment information: card and wallet payments are processed by Shopify Payments and other payment providers, such as PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Information collected automatically: your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, items added to your cart, and how you reached our site. We and our partners collect this with cookies, pixels and similar tools, including Shopify analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Information from others: order details from marketplaces such as TikTok Shop when you buy there, delivery updates from shipping carriers, and fraud screening results from payment providers.

How we use it

  • To process, ship and support your orders, including Authenticity Guarantee claims and returns under our Terms of Service.
  • To answer your questions and requests.
  • To prevent fraud, automated purchasing and misuse of our site.
  • To send marketing emails or texts you have signed up for.
  • To understand how our site is used, measure our ads and improve what we offer.
  • To keep records, meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes.

How we share it

  • Service providers that run our store for us: Shopify (store hosting and order processing), payment providers, shipping carriers, and email, text and analytics tools. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, such as Google, receive cookie and device data from our site so they can show more relevant ads and measure results.
  • Marketplaces, such as TikTok Shop, for orders you place there.
  • Authentication: when we submit an item to LegitApp for authentication, we send photographs and information about the item, not your personal information.
  • Legal and business reasons: when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state laws treat sharing cookie data with advertising partners as a "sale" or "sharing." You can opt out at Your Privacy Choices.

Cookies and tracking

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site, such as the cart, may stop working. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. Our site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals; use Your Privacy Choices instead.

Shopify, Shop Pay and TikTok Shop

Our store runs on Shopify. If you use Shop Pay or the Shop app, Shopify's own Privacy Policy also applies. If you buy on TikTok Shop, TikTok's privacy policy also applies to the information TikTok collects.

Email and text messages

We send marketing emails only if you sign up, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. If you agree to receive marketing texts, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not share your mobile number or text consent with third parties for their own marketing. You will still receive messages about your orders.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy of it, correct it, delete it, and opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email hello@shoeoddy.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We will confirm your identity, usually by matching the email address on your order, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Our site is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 to place an order (Terms of Service, Section 1(c)). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep order records as long as we need them for orders, guarantee claims, returns, taxes, accounting and legal purposes. We keep marketing contact details until you unsubscribe.

Where information is processed

We ship only within the United States. Shopify and some of our service providers may store or process information outside the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a new version with a new "Last Updated" date. If a change is material, we will give notice as the law requires.
